What does Love, Patience & Happiness have to do with gourmet food?

I found out when I sat down with Miller for our interview.

Miller started Street Vibes Gourmet Kitchen in 2017 “by chance, not by choice". He gave up his professional poker career to take care of his niece and nephew.  It is important for him to do something to give back, to make a difference in the world.  He gave up a professional poker career to take care of these kids. He says,  he “feels blessed and lucky and I love everything I put my hands on.”

“With love, patience & happiness anything is possible,” says Miller.

During my hour-long interview with Miller, I had a strong sense that these are not just words, but rather a formula for living life and being the optimal human being.

“It’s just like math”, he says.

Food tastes best when made by a happy chef. Happiness comes through the taste of the food. 

“If you don’t love what you do, you are going to fail miserably, it doesn’t matter what job you do if not you are going to work and going to be miserable. If you are miserable then you will be depressed, and if you are depressed you will feel lazy and will lose health."

“I could marinate my meats with soda as many places do. It’s easy to pour Coke for the marinade.  I don't do that, I make my own sauces by hand. I combine Vietnamese flavor with Mexican flavor for a fusion of taste that you are going to say, ‘wow’!

“It takes a lot of time and a lot of work”. 

Miller talked a lot about being happy, about enjoying what he does as a prerequisite for his success. Trust me when I say:  you can’t appreciate what I am saying until you visit Street Vibes Gourmet Kitchen Food Truck.

“Do you like it hot? On a scale of 1-10, how hot do you want it? Be honest with yourself,” Miller says.

Here is where the Peace, Love, and Happiness show through. You will understand when you get the plate of food in your hands. It was warm and very plentiful. I opened the bag and I was overcome with a medley and confluence of smells of flavors that I do not possess the words to express.
